Borrowed Lady is third in the SFU Galleries Critical Reader Series. The series encourages critical discourse and arts writing in conjunction with SFU exhibitions and programming. Prompted by Martine Syms’ 2016 exhibition at Audain Gallery, this book explores themes of inheritance in Syms' practice and beyond.
